My doctor doesn’t prescribe natural medicines. Where can I find a prescriber?
We recommend discussing alternative medicines with your own doctor first as they know all about your medications & health conditions and are most suited to determining whether it's suitable for you. If your doctor recommends trying alternative medicines but is not familiar prescribing them we can recommend a doctor that specialises in this area for you.
I’ve already been prescribed natural medicines and had them dispensed elsewhere. Can I transfer them to CannaDash?

How do I access natural medicines?
Your doctor will decide what is right for you. If you have trouble finding a doctor willing and able to prescribe them, please contact us for assistance.
Are natural medicines covered by medicare or a concession card?
No, unfortunately alternative medicines are not covered under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) and are regarded as private scripts. If you hold a valid DVA entitlement card, we recommended discussing the possibility of obtaining a DVA authority prescription with your doctor. Certain private health insurance policies may offer a rebate. Click here for information on health insurance coverage.
Can CannaDash substitute my prescription for a different product?
No, various state health bodies prohibit substitution without direct involvement with your prescriber. Please remember that our pharmacists cannot freely switch between strains or products without a new prescription or contact from your prescriber. Let us know if you are having issues sourcing a particular product, and we may be able to arrange a different medication with your prescriber.
