Choosing Between the XMAX V3 Pro and V4 Pro
If you’re deciding between the XMAX V3 Pro and the XMAX V4 Pro, both are slim, pen-style portable vaporisers built on the same basics: a swappable 18650 battery, USB-C charging, and the choice of on-demand heating for quick draws or session mode for longer use. The main differences are the heating system and how much you want to spend.
The XMAX V3 Pro is the more affordable option. It uses convection-style heating, with a stainless steel chamber and a ceramic vapour path, adjustable temperature from 100°C to 220°C, and a session mode that holds temperature for 4 or 6 minutes. The XMAX V4 Pro is the newer, updated model. It moves to full convection heating, reaches temperature in around 11 seconds, and has a display that can be flipped so it’s easy to read from different angles. It’s the better fit if you want XMAX’s latest heating system, or if you’re stepping up from the V3 Pro.
